Universal steel stones with driver, 6 pcs

Description

Universal, adjustable rings (rollers, stones) with a driver for plastic inserts.

For installation in a roller machine with 30 mm diameter rollers, they reduce material ‘floating’ on the rollers, thus ensuring parallel material guidance in the machine.

An additional function is the transfer of part of the torque to the side walls of the section, which allows us to achieve longitudinal feed of the section.

The stones are asymmetrical – one side is cone-shaped to limit scratching of the side face of the section and at the same time reduce friction during longitudinal feed. However, their arrangement relative to each other depends on the application – in the case of rolling flat bars in a vertical arrangement (upright), it is recommended to turn the central stone assembly with the flat part facing each other.

In addition, the flat parts have three threaded holes which, when used with plastic stones, act as a driver for these plastic inserts. The appropriate screws included in the plastic stone set are screwed into them when we want to equip the machine with pipe rolling inserts.

The set of 6 stones allows square, rectangular and flat profiles to be rolled (with the stones set appropriately) both inside and outside the rolling mill body.

An additional set of stones provides greater comfort (no need to move from the inside of the body (rolling width up to 100 mm) to the outside (possibility of closing a full ring)), but also introduces an additional possibility of rolling C-profiles (minimum 8 stones required).
